Summer of 2021 we were finally able to have any number (the joy!) at a celebration & Rachel + Charlie got in touch in April that year to say they needed some help to have THE BEST outdoor garden party vibe wedding! And we did - the day literally had it all!

Lots of FUN, in the most beautiful setting, real family get together and make it happen. There was rain (lots!), sun & amazing smoke bomb action. Don’t be afraid of rain on your big day - roll with it! And get some colourful ponchos + last min parasols :)

When I came up the with the plan of holding our wedding in our garden, little did I know how much I needed Dita’s logistical prowess!
We hired Dita as an on-the-day coordinator but soon extended that to include her full team, as it was clear we needed more help! Dita and her whole team were amazing. Dita has the ability to quickly grasp the concept and just understand what you’re trying to achieve as well as focus on the little touches that really matter.
On the day, Dita and her team smashed it! Navigating uncertain weather (and scenarios for every event - rain, sun, cold….), they quickly sprung into action whenever the weather changed! They also made the place look truly beautiful!!
I could not rate Dita highly enough!

And for it to be 'Best Wedding Coordinator Of the Year' is frankly just WOW! Never won anything like this before, pretty shocked, and did a happy dance when I found out! Rustic East Sussex Industrial Barn London Street Food Stylish Wedding

The title of this post says it all - this wedding had all that C+W love. Big foodies, gin + beer lovers, you can find these two at one of London’s many street food markets or checking out a new restaurant most weeks! It was such a fun year long planning this fusion wedding, with all the mix of styles, from London street food market, restaurant service food, gin bar, rustic barn with industrial charm vibe. The Cheery Barn provided the perfect setting. X

VENUE SET UP

The minute we set foot at The Cherry Barn we all knew it ticked all the boxes. Bags of rustic charm with industrial features. A labour of love by the very lovely owners, Mel & Steve. Big thanks to Hire Love for all their help with the furniture, decor & styling help. Rustic Boho charm ceremony with cross back chairs, vintage rugs, pillar candles, & muslin draping. The Cherry Barn garden was the setting for our London style street food market, and the dining area was done in a romantic vintage style with copper cutlery, gold rimmed wine glasses, pink Boho tumblers, modern plates and not one, but three kinds of napkins. Why choose if you like all?

FOOD & DRINK

Claire & Will wanted to bring some of trendy London to the East Sussex countryside in the form of a street food market - we have food stalls, make your own gin bar, fizz, Negroni’s, Aperol spritz & Fuller’s frontier keg as a nod to their west London roots.

When we had our first planning meeting it was at Will’s work. We talked about the food they really wanted and it was clear that actually Will, who is a chef, wanted to design the menu and plan the dishes to make them extra special. Like the sea bass which was the first dish he cooked for Claire. Served on the day complete with picture evidence of said first cooking date. The amazing Peruvian inspired wedding food was made by Will’s work colleagues and guests were treated to a feast of flavours & colours. Yum!
